<p>PURPOSE:To enhance durability of coil embedded in a running track. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical metal cover 20 is secured onto a metal base 11 and a transmission coil (or a receiving coil) 15 is embedded in a guide way for aircraft while being covered by the cover 20 so that the axis of the coil is in parallel with the guide way. The cover 20 is opened on the coil end side and split in the central part above the coil by a gap 21 extending in parallel with the axis of the coil. This constitution protects the transmission coil and the receiving coil against a load from above by means of the cover and the base without sacrifice of detection sensitivity.</p> |
