PURPOSE:To allow the unskillful user to use the processing unit easily by switching the display of an input picture after awaiting a reply from a talking object after display switching data are sent to the talking object so as to avoid unmatching between the input picture and a line drawing. CONSTITUTION:A system controller of a video conference equipment sends a document control request command REQA to a talking object AI when the user commands document picture display changeover to await the entry of a reply command ACK to the command REQA from the talking object AI. Then the controller revises picture data based on line drawing data entered from the talking object AI for a wait time T1 and displays it onto a document picture. Then the controller receives the command ACK and switches the display of the input picture. Thus, dissidence between the input picture and the line drawing when the input picture is switched is avoided and the use of the unskillful user is facilitated. |
