<p>PURPOSE:To execute ON/OFF control of a power supply in each peripheral apparatus by simple constitution without generating noise and to switch peripheral apparatus in an on-line state. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply OFF command for instructing the OFF of a power supply for an auxiliary storage device 10-1 e.g. is inputted by input operation using a console terminal 30, a microcomputer 23 controls a logic circuit 24 so that a control line 24-1 is set up to a low level and no current flows to the input sides of optical semiconductor relays 21-1, 22-1 provided correspondingly to the device 10-1. Thereby the output sides of the relays 21-1, 22-1 which are insulated from the input sides are turned off and both power supplies +5V, +12V supplied to the device 10-1 through the relays 21-1, 22-1 are interrupted.</p> |
