PURPOSE:To convert data from the Christian Era into the Japanese Era or from the Japanese Era into the Christian Era only by a simple key device by replacing a designated character string with the Christian Era data or the Japanese Era data prepared by a Christian Era/Japanese Era preparing means by a replacing means. A CPU 1 imparts the detected result to a Christian Era/ Japanese Era converting part 10. Also, the Christian Era/Japanese Era converting part 10 converts the Christian Era data into the Japanese Era data, or converts the Japanese Era data into the Christian Era data by referring to a Christian Era/Japanese Era conversion table 11 according to the detected result of the conversion kind detecting part 9. This converted result is written in a conversion buffer 12. Then, the CPU 1 reads the data in the conversion buffer 12, and performs a Christian Era/Japanese Era conversion processing or a Christian Era/Japanese Era insertion processing. |
