<p>PURPOSE:To provide a lightweight phase-to-phase spacer excellent in durability and reliability by forming the insulating part of the phase-to-phase spacer of a porcelain insulator and a resin insulator, and providing a bypass circuit which is OFF by a leaked current in parallel to the resin insulator. CONSTITUTION:Wire holding parts 4 are provided on both ends of a bar insulating part 3 to constitute a phase-to-phase spacer. Further, the insulating part 3 is formed of a porcelain insulator 1 and a resin insulator 2, and a bypass circuit which is OFF by a leaked current is provided in parallel to the resin insulator 2. This bypass circuit can be formed, for example, by a shape memory alloy 9. The resulting phase-to-phase spacer is mounted between the phases of a transmission wiring to prevent a phase-to-phase short circuit accident. No voltage act on the resin insulator 2 in the general state to prevent the deterioration of the resin insulator 2, and a necessary surface leak distance can be ensured at quick fouling.</p> |
