PURPOSE:To shorten a terminal insertion cycle in a device used for the terminal insertion for a wire harness. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal crimped at the end of an electric wire is inserted within the housing of a connector, an electric wire with a terminal is received by a receiving hand 72A and a centering hand 73A in the receiving position of a previous process, and then the terminal of an electric wire received by hands 72A, 73A is checked by a correction hand 74A to correct the bend of the electric wire. The correction hand 74A and the centering hand 73A are moved forward and backward in the direction of Y-axis by operating a stroke adjustment motor MA so as to adjust the length of terminal insertion stroke and deliver an electric wire, the stroke length of which is adjusted. Thereby, the operation of adjusting an insertion stroke length and the operation of inserting a terminal are overlapped to be able to perform the operation of inserting a preceding terminal and the operation of adjusting the insertion stroke length of a next terminal in parallel. |
