As a result of their simple and rapid processing, gypsum plasterboards have found widespread use for interior work. Edge-parallel lining simplifies measuring procedures when cutting the gypsum plasterboards to size; cutting-to-size itself can take place without a rule. Orientation in the ready-prepared surface is also facilitated.
