A garment hanger (10) includes a hanger body having an upper (20) and a lower bar (40) coupled thereto. The upper (20) and lower (40) bars each have upper and lower surfaces, respectively. A hook (14) is coupled to the upper bar (20) for supporting the hanger body. A finger (44) is pivotally joined to the upper surface of the lower bar (40). The finger (44) pivots upwardly towards the upper bar (20) when the garment is supported on the lower bar (40) over the finger (44) to capture the garment therebetween. An extension (150) on the upper bar (20) may include arms (140) to releasably capture and hold the lower bar (40) thereto. |
