METHOD [M.V. KUTUSHOV] FOR CORRECTING A BIOLOGICAL FLUID AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

A biological fluid is corrected by interaction with a composition in a vessel of an extracorporeal apparatus. A specific volume of biological fluid is corrected in a number of cycles. In each cycle, the vessel of the apparatus is filled with the biological fluid and a biocompatible suspension of a magneto-conductive composition and the two substances are simultaneously mixed. The resulting mixture is allowed to stand then fed into a magnetic field effect region, whereafter the biological fluid which has passed through said region is removed from the apparatus. In each cycle, the vessel of the apparatus is simultaneously filled with predetermined amounts of the biological fluid and the biocompatible magneto-conductive composition suspension from points n >/= 1 and in separate dosed amounts, each of which is added to the previously obtained product. An apparatus for carrying out the method includes two electromotive apparatuses (8 and 30), a pump (5) for feeding in and removing the fluids, a mixing chamber (1) operably linked to a duct from the electromotive apparatus (30) and a filter (3) with a wire mesh filter element (41) and magnets arranged thereon (40).
