A carrying device for a case-like container (1) is proposed. Said device comprises a carrying strap (16) on which at least one anchoring section (34) is arranged. Furthermore, it comprises an attachment means (18) which is arranged on the container (1) and has a strap passage (37) provided with a lateral insertion opening (56). The carrying strap (16) can be inserted in the strap passage transversely to the longitudinal direction (33) of the strap with a strap section (35) adjoining the anchoring section (34). The anchoring section is arranged and/or designed in such a way that it is prevented from slipping through the belt passage. In this way, the carrying strap (16) can be mounted in an extremely rapid and simple manner whilst guaranteeing great strength. <IMAGE>
