The invention concerns binder systems suitable for use in electro-dip coating, the binder systems being based on basic, thermally crosslinkable epoxy or polyurethane resins used as the binders (B) and containing 0.001 to 1 % by wt., relative to the total solids content of the binder system, of a polymer (I) made up, for the greater part, of ethyl acrylate and/or n-propyl acrylate.
