PURPOSE:To provide a sponge rubber roller which has excellent surface smoothness, easily controllable electrical resistance, thus is useful in OA appliances by vulcanizing and foaming a specific green rubber composition. CONSTITUTION:A green rubber composition comprising (A) a chlorinated ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer where the alpha-olefin is preferably of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, most preferably 1-butene, the copolymerization molar ratio of ethylene to a-olefin is 75/25 to 95/5, chlorine content is 20 to 40wt.%, and the Mooney viscosity [ML1+4 (121 deg.C)] is 10 to 190, (B) a vulcanizer such as triazine-2,4,6-trithiol, (C) a foaming agent such as sodium hydrogen carbonate, is vulcanized and foamed in a can to give the objective molded foam. |
