摘要 PURPOSE:To lessen accumulation and adhesion of dust to a catalytic layer in the inside of flue gas denitrification apparatus and stably operate a flue gas denitrification apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A denitrification apparatus 1 is composed of a descending flow route chamber 7 in which a flue gas flows downward from a flowing inlet 12 and an ascending flow route chamber 8 in which the gas reverses the flowing direction in a space 5 in the lower part of an apparatus main body 1 and flows upward. By making the flue gas passing cross-section surface area of a catalytic layer 4 in the ascending flow route smaller than the flue gas passing cross-section surface area of a catalytic layer 3 in the descending flow route, the flue gas flowing rate in the ascending flow route chamber 8 is made higher than the flue gas flowing rate in the descending flow route chamber 7 and the gap between catalytic elements in the catalytic layer 4 in the ascending flow route is made wider than the gap between the catalytic elements of the catalytic layer 3 in the descending flow route. Consequently, accumulation and adhesion of dust to the catalytic layers are lessened and a flue gas denitrification apparatus can be operated stably.
