PURPOSE:To prevent image blurr and color transfer and to enhance dyeing properties, in a thermal transfer recording material bringing a dye donating layer containing a thermal transfer dye and a dye receiving layer to a contact state to transfer a dye, by adding a transfer accelerator represented by a predetermined formula to the receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by a predetermined formula is added to a dye receiving layer. In the formula, R<1>-R<5> are a halogen atom, a 1-10C alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a 6-15C aryl group, an aryloxy group, a 1-10C ureido group, an amino group, a cyano group, an OH group, a urethane group, an acyl group, a group or a carbamoyl group, R<6> is a 10C alkyl group or a 6-15C aryl group, R<7> is a hydrogen atom or R<6> and R<6> and R<7> may form a 5-7-membered ring. |
