PURPOSE: A console box is provided to reduce the projected length of a cover when the cover is turned and fully opened. CONSTITUTION: A console box comprises a housing(110), a cover(120), dampers(130), and torsion springs(140). The housing comprises an article storage space and an open portion. The cover is coupled with the front side of the housing through hinge combining units(121). The dampers are installed between the hinge combining units and the housing and control the opening speed of the cover. The torsion springs are installed between the hinge combining units and the housing and support the cover elastically. |
