PURPOSE:To provide a waste toner discharge mechanism used for a cleaner section such as the drum unit of an electrophotographic recording device and capable of surely discharging toners even when the fluidity of the toners is lowered. CONSTITUTION:A waste toner discharge mechanism is constituted of a toner discharge pipe 102 removably fitted for use to a cleaner section scraping off the residual toners from the surface of a photoreceptor and storing the scraped residual toners, a screw 104 conveying the toners stored in the toner discharge pipe 102 to the front end of the pipe 102, and a cap 103 coupled with the cleaner section side when fitted and opening the front end section of the toner discharge pipe 102 kept closed at this time. The front end of the toner discharge pipe 102 is obliquely cut to widen a toner discharge port. |
