PURPOSE:To perform the electrical connection of a circuit substrate easily and stably by arranging terminal pins, which are provided with an integrated pinching part respectively, in parallel with each other with a predetermined space so that the pinching parts thereof are arranged in the same side to install them in a connector housing. CONSTITUTION:A terminal pin 2 is formed with a pinching part 7 for pinching a substrate in the rear end of a straight base part 5 thereof integrally. The pinching part 7 is folded so as to form a nearly U-shape, and a lower structural part 9 and an upper structural part 11 thereof opposite to each other form an opening, which is opened backward in the rear end thereof. In a connector housing 3, one end of the longitudinal direction is opened, and fitting holes 15 of pins 2 are provided in parallel with each other in a vertical wall part 13 of the other end opposite to the opening along the longitudinal direction. The base part 5 of each pin 2 is pressed into the fitting hole 15 of the housing 3 from the back surface to form a connector. The connector having such a structure is installed in a circuit substrate 20 by pinching the edge of the circuit substrate 20 with the pinching part 7 of the pins 2. |
