The proposal is for a mixing valve for mixing cold and hot water, with an inlet for hot water and an inlet for cold water, the cold and hot water flowing via corresponding servo valves into a mixing chamber, where they are mixed. In this arrangement, backpressure chambers associated with the servo valves are provided. Arranged in a fixed manner on a spindle which passes through the mixing chamber and is mounted displaceably in the valve elements of the servo valves are control sleeves which, in the respective backpressure chamber, lie opposite a relief hole which connects to the mixing chamber. When the control sleeves are displaced, the valve elements follow the control sleeves at a defined distance without touching them.
