The invention relates to a process for the sound-damped installation and/or anchorage of structural elements, e.g. staircase landings, in wall surfaces or the like, in the case of which, upon the erection of the wall surface, a box-shaped element which is open on at least one side is introduced, with an inner layer which is provided at least in certain areas, serves as a bearing means and consists of sound-insulating material, into the wall surface, the respective structural element being fastened on the wall surface in a sound-insulating manner with the aid of the box-shaped element. Said process is intended to provide a solution by means of which the sound-insulating mounting of such staircase landings or the like can be simplified considerably and provided in a manner which involves less outlay, the intention being, however, reliably to ensure requirements for functioning and strength. This is achieved in that the reinforcement of the structural element to be fixed is introduced, on the end side, directly into the at least one box-shaped element and, in order to erect the complete structural element, is then cast, on the end side, into the box-shaped element.
