<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic toner having high dispersibility of a colorant and excellent in transparency and color reproducibility. CONSTITUTION:A colorant is added to rosin and/or rosin ester having 70-120 deg.C softening point, an electric charge controlling agent is further added, if necessary, and they are kneaded under shear while melting the rosin and/or rosin ester. A bonding resin is added to the resulting kneaded material, other additives are further added if necessary, and they are kneaded. The resulting kneaded material is pulverized, classified and used as the objective toner.</p> |
