With these devices, it is, in my opinion, possible for any motorist to move back into the correct carriageway at an appropriate speed and, if necessary, to easily control his course over the rest of the dangerous route. Vehicles travelling behind also have the advantage here of being provided with a road which is already gritted. Rear-end collisions are thus reduced to a great degree.
