PURPOSE:To reduce information amounts to be transferred, and to reduce transferring time and a line cost by transferring only the final updated result at the time of updating some data plural times. CONSTITUTION:When one of some computer updates a data base 3 managed by its own device, the computer obtains the update history of the data base 3, and registers it in an update history file 5. Then, the computer edits the content of the update history file 5 at every key based on the update data and hour at the time of the end of the update, extracts only the final updated result of each key, registers it in an update information file 7, and transfers the content of the update information file 7 to the other preliminarily decided computer. That is, when one certain computer updates the data base 3, the computer obtains the update history information (key, the update date and hour, and updated result) of the data to be updated, extracts the latest updated information of each key from the update history file 5 bv referring to the key and the update date and hour, resisters it in the updated information file 7, and transfers the updated information file 7.
