PURPOSE:To simplify the overall structure of an inch worm type actuator by eliminating the need of a complicated mechanism, e.g. a displacement amplifying mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic boards 20a are arranged at a predetermined interval on a nonmagnetic driven body 25 and the board 20a is fixed with at least one magnetic body securing beam 21 and at least two magnetic body rocking beams 22, 23, 24. Coils 30, 31, 32, 33 are interposed between the beams 21, 22, 23, 24 and means 35 for applying voltage to each coil 30, 31, 32, 33 at a predetermined timing is connected with each coil. The rocking beams 22, 23, 24 are rocked by magnetic attracting force generated from the coils 30, 31, 32, 33 and abut, at the tips thereof, on the driven body 25. |
