PURPOSE:To let the system be in thermal balance, which uses as basic fuel gas mainly composed of hydrogen such as city gas and the like including carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and nitrogen, concurrently makes the fuel cell generating power device more compact, and enhance overall thermal efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A fuel processing section is constituted only of a carbon monoxide transformer 3 while being made compact with a reformer eliminated, and concurrently a boiler 8 burning gas from the outlet of a fuel electrode is set at the downstream side of a fuel cell main body 1. By this constitution, energy of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon which have not reacted yet, is recovered in a form of steam, so that overall thermal efficiency is enhanced. |
