PURPOSE:To obtain the subject detergent useful in cleaning and sterilizing particularly stubbornly greased spots such as a ventilating fan, an oven, a range, and a floor in a kitchen or a food factory by using a specific quaternary ammonium salt, a specific surfactant, a specific solvent and a specific salt of silicic acid. CONSTITUTION:This detergent comprises pref. 0.1-30wt.% quaternary ammonium salt having at least two 8-10C alkyl groups (e.g. didecyldimethylammonium chloride), pref. 0.1-25wt.% nonionic surfactant (e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether), pref. 0.1-10wt.% glycol solvent (e.g. diethylene glycol monobutyl ether), and pref. 0.1-10wt.% salt of silicic acid (e.g. potassium metasilicate), wherein all the amts. are based on water. |
