PURPOSE:To provide an injector of pharmaceutical liquid filling type which admits an injection needle of any size, enables easy operation of piercing, allows certain fixation of a communication needle after piercing, presents easiness in operation at injecting, and admits use of a large capacity barrel. CONSTITUTION:An injector concerned comprises a barrel whose mouth 13 is blocked with a rubber plug and which is in advance filled with a pharmaceutical liquid, a plunger 2 inserted from the tail of the barrel 1 liquid-tigftly and slidably, a communication needle 3 for piercing the rubber plug, and a cap 4 which accommodates the communication needle 3 removably from below and works as a guide for the piercing operation with which the needle 3 is depressed. The needle 3 is composed of a needle body provided at the top with a lure tip and at the bottom with a piercing part and an approx. cylindrical detaining member whose undersurface secured to the needle body is left open, and at the bottom of this detaining member, a pawl is formed which admits inserting to the mouth 13 from above and restrains so that slipping-out upward is impossible. |
