<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to burn and regenerate accumulation smoothly from the upstream side on the supposition that the accumulation condition of exhaust gas partices is suitable in a cylindric filter element. CONSTITUTION:A cylindric filter element 4 is stored inside a casing 3 and partitions 5, 6 are provided so that exhaust gas may flow from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side of the filter element 4 which has a heater 7 for regeneration arranged inside thereof. Three partition plates 8 are provided in a manner to partition an exhaust gas passage 11 in the inner circumferential side of the filter element 4. The partition plate 8 has an opening 9 in its center to give suitable circulation resistance. A communicating hole 10 to propagate burning is opened on the outer circumferential part of the partition plate 8.</p> |
