PURPOSE:To provide the image forming device capable of reducing interference on the tips of teeth of gears with each other caused in the case of rotating a body such as a developing cartridge with respect to a device main body and in the case of transmitting driving force thereto from the device main body side through a gear driving device, capable of preventing the tips of teeth from being deformed, and evading causing noise and lowering image quality. CONSTITUTION:The gear 10 is fixed to the supporting shaft 14 of a the developing cartridge D, and the gear 9 is arranged on a developing device driving supporting member 7. A bar pressing member 45 successively approaches a gear phase matching bar 43 first, then a gear phase matching bar 44 in the case of vertically falling from an upper part to a lower part. The phases of the bars 43 and 44 are lined up in the vertical direction by making the bars 43 and 44 pass through the inside of a groove 47 formed on the lower end of the bar pressuring member 45. Consequently, the phase of the gear 10 and that of the gear 9 coincide with each other, so that the gears 10 and 9 can be meshed without causing the interference on the tips of teeth. |
