<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the repeater not disturbing link establishment between communications controllers by providing respectively a clock recovery circuit in an opposite repeater. CONSTITUTION:A speed conversion circuit 6b of a repeater 2b converts the speed of data sent to a 1st transmission line 1d by a communications controller 4b into a speed for a 2nd transmission line 3b and sends the data to the transmission line 3b. A clock recovery circuit 5a in the repeater 2a recovers a transmission clock in the 1st transmission line 1d. On the other hand, the speed conversion circuit 6b in the repeater 2b converts the speed of data on the 1st transmission lien 1d into a speed on the 2nd transmission line 3b and sends the data to the transmission line 3b. A speed conversion circuit 7 of the repeater 2a converts again the speed of the data sent from the repeater 2b to the 2nd transmission line 3b and sends the data to the 1st transmission line 1a.</p> |
