PURPOSE: To provide a metal-covered LiFeO2 ceramic electrode for a creep resistant fuel cell which is not only particularly useful for a fused carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) but also can be used in a solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC). CONSTITUTION: A creep resistant electrolyte/electrode structure body for a high temperature fuel cell is composed of ion conductive electrolyte, a layer composed of nonsintered granular LiFeO2 adjacent to the electrolyte and conductive metallic powder contacting with the granular LiFeO2 , and can form a porous creep resistant electrode conductively containing the electrolyte by sintering this metallic powder and the granular LiFeO2 . |
