PURPOSE:To provide an image-receiving body capable of being favorably released from a color sheet after transfer recording, wherein a releasing agent is incorporated in an image-receiving layer comprising a thermoplastic resin as a main constituent and formed on the surface of a base for an image-receiving body for sublimation thermal transfer recording. CONSTITUTION:A resin solution obtained by using a thermoplastic resin (preferably, an acrylic resin) as a main constituent and mixing a releasing agent (preferably, a silicon compound such as polysiloxane) therewith, ordinarily followed by adding particulate silica or the like for improving fixability, is applied to the surface of a base for the image-receiving body for sublimation thermal transfer recording to provide an image-receiving layer comprising the resin and the releasing agent, thereby obtaining the image-receiving body. The releasing agent is preferably used in an amount of 1-80wt% to the resin. |
