PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of urban life refuses out of a belt by supporting both ends of the belt on the downstream side of a hopper in a manner of inclining upwardly by means of inclining rollers in a conveyor for dealing with the urban life refuses. CONSTITUTION:Skirts 15a and 15b are installed on side wall sections of a hopper 14 to prevent the scattering of urban life refuses (g) and (m) through spaces between both side wall sections of the hopper 14 and the upper face of the belt 4 to the outside of the belt 4. A couple of short rollers 34a and 34b, left and right, are supported rotatably by supporting components 41a, 41b, 42a and 42b to push up both side ends of the belt 4 and bring the ends into contact with the lower end faces of the skirts 15a and 15b slidably. Most part of the belt 4 is supported by a supporting roller 40. |
