THERMAL TRANSFER ACCEPTING SHEET

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer accepting sheet that can be easily discriminated between its top side and rear side by a difference in surface reflective characteristics and can be prevented from being fused to an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer accepting sheet comprises a dye accepting layer 2 formed on one surface of a sheet substrate 1 by incorporating a dyeable resin as a main component and a rear surface layer 3 formed on the other surface of the sheet substrate 1. Where surface reflective characteristics are shown by a value (b) specified by JIS-Z8730, a difference of 3.0 or more is determined between the value (b) of the surface of the dye accepting layer 2 and the value (b) of the surface of the rear surface layer 3. The rear surface layer 3 contains a silicone group-containing block copolymer as a main component.
