<p>PURPOSE:To automate the carry-in work of seats into car bodies so as to lighten the burden of a worker by supplying a lateral pair of seats from one side of the bodies, and after transferring one seat from one side of the bodies to the other side, carrying both seats into the bodies from both sides of the bodies. CONSTITUTION:At the time of carrying seats automatically into bodies, bodies 26 (-1, -2) are first carried into a seat carry-in station and then conveyed onto the following work station by a body conveyor means 25. A pair of seats 2 (L, R) are then supplied by a seat supply means 24 disposed on one side of the body conveyor means 25. One of the seats 2 is transferred by a seat transfer means 29 disposed in the state of advancing/receding from one side of the body conveyor means 25 to the other side, and the other seat 2 is gripped by a robot 27 disposed on one side of the body conveyor means 25 and conveyed into the body 26. The seat 2 is received by a robot 28, disposed on the other side of the body conveyor means 25, from the seat transfer means 29 and conveyed into the body 26.</p> |
