PURPOSE:To manufacture a seat with a groove which can prevent a molding material from flowing into an engaging element group of a face fastener embedded in a recessed section of a cushioning material and install a seat cover simply along the cushioning material by utilizing the face fastener and also provide its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:A face fastener 4 with an engaging element group 41 is insert molded on a recessed section 21 of a cushioning material 2 corresponding to a groove 11 of a seat 1, and a checking component 5 preventing the flowing of a molding material into the engaging element group side is insert molded on the outside of the engaging element group 41, while a protruded section 31 fitted into the recessed section 21 is formed on the side of a seat cover 3 covering the cushioning material 2, and a group of elements 32 engaged with the engaging element group 41 is provided at the end of the protruded section. |
