PURPOSE:To reduce the labor for bag-placing work and improve the efficiency thereof by a method wherein a feed mouth of a bag is opened to such a size as to cover the upper surface of a box and the bag is turned to a vertically suspended direction so that the bottom of the bag can be inserted into the box positioned below the bag, whereby the bag can be inserted surely into the box. CONSTITUTION:A feed mouth of a bag F which is drawn out and supplied in a horizontal direction is opened and held and thereafter the mouth is turned to a suspended position so that the bottom of the bag F is inserted into a box B positioned thereunder. As a result, the bag F is moved horizontally, while it is being sucked and held, and the bag F is turned to a different direction, while the mouth thereof is opened and held, with the result that the bag F is surely inserted into the box B, thereby improving efficiency of placing work of the bag. Furthermore, in the covering of the bag, the bottom of the bag F is pushed and formed into a box-like shape, with the result that the bag F can be placed in an appropriate form corresponding to the interior and exterior of the box and placing work of the bag F can be performed mechanically. |
