PURPOSE:To obtain cellulose-based fine granules suitable for e.g. woody molded forms free from fluffing and molding strain and excellent in dimensional stability, safety and producibility, by charging ground fine granules of a cellulose- based material together with an inorganic pigment into a ball mill followed by treatment under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A crudely ground product of a cellulose-based material is further ground into finely ground granules 11 in a ball mill together with an inorganic pigment 10 such as titanium dioxide, the mixture is treated so as to hold the pigment 10 into the fine granules 10 in a bitten way and the resultant pigment- carrying cellulose-based fine granules are dried to <=3wt.% in moisture content, thus obtaining the objective fine granules. |
