PURPOSE: To provide a medicine for treating the mastitis and metritis of cattle which does not give rise to the problem of milk contamination by residual medicines. CONSTITUTION: This parenteral soln. is used for treatment of the mastitis and metritis of the cattle, contains the concd. mixture composed of diacetyl and a small amt. of acetoin and is injected into the breasts of the cattle at the time of the treatment of the mastitis or is injected into the uterus at the time of the treatment of the metritis.
