PURPOSE:To provide a microorganism-controlling agent exhibiting high effect at a low concentration, having low toxicity, free from foaming tendency and having easy handleability and to provide a microorganism-controlling process using the microorganism-controlling agent. CONSTITUTION:The microorganism-controlling agent contains (A) at least one kind of compound selected from 2,2-dibromo-3-nitropropionamide and 2,2- dibromo-2-nitroethanol and (B) poly(hexamethylenebiguanide) or its salt as active components. Microorganisms can easily be controlled by adding the microorganism-controlling agent to a water-system to be subjected to the microorganism-controlling treatment. |
