<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the handling of waste plastics by a method in which heating coils are stretched in a cylinder with a difference in level between the upper and lower parts, water or a liquid which softens plastics is placed in the lower box, and waste plastic products are cut into pieces by the heating coils. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder 1 having two or more parts different in level, heating coils are stretched alternately. In a lower box 5 is placed water or a liquid which cools or keeps soft dropped molten plastics. Waste plastic products including containers are put in the cylinder 1 and heated by the heating coils 2. The plastic products softened or melted are cut into pieces by their own weight to drop into the lower box 5.</p> |
