A pneumatic spring has pneumatic spring bellows of elastic material with embedded reinforcing inserts and serves to mount machines, drive units and systems transmitting structure-borne sound and also to mount systems which can be excited by the transmission of structure-borne sound. In order to design the pneumatic spring in the industrially interesting frequency range free of excessive increases in the spring rigidity, the pneumatic spring bellows (11) is provided at the periphery with at least one vibration-influencing blocking mass (16). The entire blocking mass (16) corresponds to at least twice the mass of the bellows wall capable of vibration.
