SUBLIMATION TRANSFER PRINTING METHOD TO MOLDED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To enable printing clearly sublimation-transfer-print design and pattern on the surface of a molded article without developing the deterioration and deformation of the molded article by a method wherein sublimation dye transferring material, onto which the desired pattern and design are printed with sublimation bye-based ink, is employed. CONSTITUTION:Heat resistant molding material, which is mainly made of heat resistant resin and contains heat resistance improver, or aluminum is molded or formed in the desired shape. Under the condition that the printed surface of sublimation dye transferring material is brought into close contact with the surface of the molded article by putting the obtained molded article together with the sublimation dye transferring material in the cavity of a transferring jig having the shape corresponding to the shape of the molded article, sublimation dye is heat-transferred from the surface of the sublimation dye transferring material to the surface of the molded article by heating the sublimation dye transferring material through the transferring jig.
