PURPOSE:To prevent vehicle body vibration from being transmitted to a steering wheel and avoid the upper movement of a steering column in the case of the steering of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an automobile at whose vehicle room inside front a support beam 4 is laid across in a lateral width direction, two pipe bodies 14 whose thicknesses are different, are interveniently furnished in a concentric state between the support beam 4 and a front cowl 6, and a steering column 2 is fitted to the support beam 4 in the vicinity of a pipe body 14 fitting position. Also, the two pipe bodies 14 whose thicknesses are different and which are interveniently furnished in the concentric state are formed by means of round pipes. As a result, the upper movement of the steering wheel is deterred and at the same time the transmission of vehicle body vibration can be prevented. |
