PURPOSE:To preserve dried grain at a low temperature over a long period without deteriorating quality or lowering taste by removing dew condensation which occurs by the difference of temperature between the temperature of piled dried grain and the temperature of the outer wall face by only circulating and communicating air in a storage container. CONSTITUTION:An air blow passage 8 for connecting the upper space 5 to the lower space 7 is set on a storage container 1 in which dried grain for low- temperature preservation is housed. A humidity sensor 12 for detecting humidity of the upper part of a deposited dry grain layer A raised by the difference of temperature between the temperature of deposited dry grains and the temperature of the outer wall face 11 is arranged at a position of the upper part of the deposited dry grain layer A, close to the outer wall face 11 of the storage tank 1 and simultaneously an air blower 10 for circulating and communicating air in the interior of the storage container 1 through a blowing passage 8 is installed in the air blow passage 8.
