PURPOSE:To make possible the display of an LCD corresponding to latest set contrast information without resetting contrast by a user even at the time of reapplying a power after a power source voltage becomes zero. CONSTITUTION:When input signals from an external switch 110 or 111 are sent to a CPU 104, the CPU reloads the data of a memory address for storing the data for adjusting the contrast inside an ID-ROM 105 and the ID-ROM 105 holds the stored information as long as stored contents are not reloaded. The new data by external switch input are read from the ID-ROM 105 by the CPU 104 and sent to an LCD driver 107 as contrast control information and the contrast of the LCD is adjusted by it. |
