The rudder assembly has a rudder blade (1) movable around a post (2), both made of composite materials.The lower part of the post is of polygonal cross-section, to engage in a ceasing (4) of the corresponding section in the body of the rudder.The polygonal design prevents relative rotation of the post and rudder. The casing is attached to the rest of the rudder by a joint surface extending completely over one of its faces.
