PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour for a transfer operation and to shorten time required for the transfer operation by replacing the first file name of a generation file with the second file name of a control data file. CONSTITUTION:An NC file 20 and the control data file 23 generated from a work procedure file 21 are sequentially transferred from an NC data generation system 10 being a first computer system to an NC data management system 12 being a second computer system. The first file name of the NC file 20 is replaced with the second file name of the control data file 23 in the second computer system. Thus, the NC file 20 is automatically transferred in idle time, the man-hour of the transfer operation is reduced and the time of the transfer operation can considerably be shortened only by designating a transfer batch processing by the operation in the first computer system.
