PURPOSE:To interrupt/resume film transfer by means of an operator without damaging an error restoration function specified by FTA at all by receiving the interruption request of film transfer and simulating the occurrence of the temporary error of more than 'error class 2' specified by FTAM. CONSTITUTION:An FTAM local processing part 8 detects a local fault (error) on its own side holds data in the middle of restoration. A restoration processing part 6a controls the notice of the error to an opposite party 14 and the execution of a error restoration means. At the time of requesting the interruption of film transfer by the operator from its own side, the local processing part 8 simulates the temporary error of an error class 3. When its own side is a starting side, the resumption request of film transfer by the operator and the like is received and an error restoration procedure is executed from its own side. In the case of a response-side, the error restoration procedure is executed from the opposite starting-side after the waiting time which its own side requests. Thus, file transfer can be interrupted and resumed by the operator from its own side. |
