The anchoring device for a power cable comprises a hollow body (7) having an axial hole through which the cable (2) is intended to pass, a stirrup (U-shaped clamp) (3) integral with the hollow body (7) for attaching it to a wall (6), means for fixing the cable (2) with respect to this hollow body (7) and forming, together with the latter, a clamp (1) which compresses the cable (2) when the cable is pulled in a direction opposite to the stirrup (3). The anchoring device furthermore includes means (14) which permit relative sliding of the stirrup (3) with respect to the hollow body (7) and which interact with means (9, 12) for rapidly locking the stirrup (3) relative to the hollow body (7). <IMAGE>
