PURPOSE: To provide an improved electronic graphic system in which further high level control can be attained in the combination of two independent images based on a control image which can be normalized and/or corrected by a user at the time of plotting an image with a picture. CONSTITUTION: The plotting of an image can be further largely controlled by arranging the characteristic of the image so as to be enlarged or reduced, or corrected under the control of a user. The enlargement and reduction are both executed by offsetting image data, writing the offset data in storage devices 2 and 3, and combining the data with the previously stored data by the weighted total sum. This operation is repeated to the different offset. The effect of the weighted total sum is the addition of a soft edge to the characteristic of a picture, and this system can be used also for easing a control image. |
